For the Hubbies:
As we approach yet another Hallmark Holiday, (Sunday is Mother's Day, yeah, you forgot didn't you!) people are looking to my blog for sexy gift ideas for...well, now that I think about it, I hope they are not looking for sexy gifts for their mother! That would be weird! They must be looking for something special for the mother of their children. To show their complete awe and respect for all that a mother does to raise the children and keep the home fires burning. Of course, the children will bring home the obligatory gift their teacher told them they had to make. But if you have very young children, it's up to the hubby.
First of all, this should be a day to spend as a family but thoughtful things are done for Mom throughout the day. She should not be cooking, cleaning, yelling at children, making trips to urgent care (I have done this on TWO Mother's Days!), or listening to bickering. She should be allowed at least a little time to herself to enjoy a book and a good cup of coffee or whatever she likes to do. If you do not plan of cooking for her, make your reservations now! Find a nice restaurant that serves a brunch or dinner buffet.
Now, the gift! While my past gift suggestions are good for any occasion, Mother's Day is a good time for gift certificates to her favorite spa or salon, baskets of bath products in her favorite scent, gift cards from her favorite clothing shops, and time to use these things! Click on the pictures above to get some more great ideas!
Oh, and don't forget to get your own mother something nice, flower baskets are nice. And don't make your wife buy the gift for YOUR mother!
Well, get busy! You only have 3 more days to shop!

md-Um...no. Usually I don't mind getting things for the kitchen as I love to cook. But not for Mother's Day.
